I begged Morgan to go out and measure the snow a couple of times on Saturday. He thought I was kind of silly. Finally when Morgan came home from the movies I went and measured it myself. The picture is of Morgan's measurement. When I did mine it went all the way to eight inches. For those of you reading this that live in snowy areas... ignore my excitement. We NEVER get snow in Portland let alone 8 inches in one day!!! This is great!!!!
In the evening the snow turned to freezing rain and there is already a sheet of ice on top of the snow that is in this picture.
