We went on our first Hall Family Vacation in Hawaii. We camped at Bellows Air Force Station. It may look like we had amenities... we did not. Four walls, a floor, a roof and a bed frame and mattress. We did have electricity. Not sure what we would have done without it. We could only pack so much across the ocean with us. A lantern and flashlight was not any of those things. It was a great experience and would have been even better without all the mosquitoes. All in all, everyone had a great time. We were just steps from the beach and a ways from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.

Oh that is a bummer about the lack of ammenities :( We have cabanas and beach cottages here on base in Kaneohe. Looks like you had a nice beach though .
